 Panel convegno ANGOPI Ritagliato piccolaGli ormeggiatori e la sicurezza portuale: un modello di professionalità Made in Italy che fa scuola in Europa.  L'ANGOPI, Associazione Nazionale Gruppi Ormeggiatori e Barcaioli Porti Italiani, da sempre opera per il riconoscimento e la qualificazione professionale della categoria degli ormeggiatori: uomini di mare a 360°, preparati e specializzati ad affrontare ogni emergenza in porto o in rada. Un sistema organizzativo e di competenze per i servizi di ormeggio che è stato individuato come modello di riferimento in Europa per la sicurezza dei porti. Un modello incentrato sul fattore umano e sul ruolo imprescindibile dell'operatore tecnico-nautico nello sventare incidenti in porto e in mare, salvaguardando l'incolumità di persone e mezzi. Oggi, quello che si stava affermando come un modello italiano di professionalità ed efficienza, da esportare in Europa, è messo in discussione dal miraggio di una deregolamentazione che potrebbe mettere a rischio la sicurezza, la professionalità e l’efficienza del sistema portuale italiano. L’Italia vanta una tradizione marinaresca di eccellenza e un modello di portualità che può essere un faro in Europa: un modello di nuovo umanesimo del mare, da esportare nel mondo.
